I absolutely loved the Adventures of Anabel Axelrod and have recommended the series to everyone I talk to. After listening to me howl out loud while reading the books, my husband has decided he needs to read them too. My sister was distraught when they ended and said she was going to email you to insist you write another book in the series. I was so happy to call her and tell that book four was coming out in November. We are both thrilled and have already pre-ordered!

Keep up the great work. You are a VERY funny writer! I can’t wait to read book four.

      Cecile–the darlingest of women! (No, that is not a real word–but it should be!) Sitting here writing on Saturday while everybody else is out playing, I am feeling sorry for myself. I’m wondering why in the world I think I can write humor when I’m such a sourpuss. (I am also craving apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream somethin’ fierce, but just saying NO! I think this has sent me over the edge into a deep, dark abyss where vicious name-calling becomes commonplace.) Anyway, your comment posted. You reaffirmed my snarky faith with your reports of howling, husbands, and distraught sisters. AND you convinced me with your brilliant, timely arguments that I should never, ever deny a craving. Whew! Thank YOU, Cecile–what was I thinking?! Thank you very much for the pre-orders, as well. I am grateful to you and sis for the support! ;}

I LOVED Acadia’s Law, are you gonna write a Second book?

  3. Laura Redmon says:

I just finished reading Acadia’s law and Iit is one of the best zombie books ive ever had the pleasure of reading. Looking forward to more Rod, Acadia, Crazies, Zombies, & the rest of the King Farm family! I was hoping maybe you send out emails to remind your fans when the next book comes out in march of 2015. Thank you for such a wonderful read.

    • Tracy Ellen says:

Thank you so much, Laura! It’s wonderful to be told you enjoyed Acadia’s Law. Writing this series is loads of fun because I love the action in apocalyptic books. I am in the middle of doing a new blog and plan to have a monthly newsletter sign up for future release notifications, etc. So if you check back in a month or so, please sign up! ;} Best wishes!

  4. Sarah says:

OMG! I am a fan of steamy romance novels and was hooked with my first freebie and quickly downloaded the next two Anabel Axelrod adventures. I relate so much to Anabel (fierce, scares the bejusus of love and voices in my head. Haha) and am from the Midwest and frequent the towns referenced! I am relieved to hear there is a fourth and cant wait to see how Svettie will be dealt with! I plan on checking out Acadia as well! Thanks for being a great writer!

    • Tracy Ellen says:

Hey Sarah—Hmmm, I wonder if voices in the head is a Midwestern thing? ;} It’s fun to hear from a local(ish) girl, and I’m thrilled you liked the series. Actually, I have a big surprise in store for the next Anabel story, but no spoilers from this chickie-poo! (I’m sorry, but I love to tease. It’s pathological.) When you have a moment, I’d love to hear what you thought of Acadia’s Law, too. Best wishes and thank you!

  5. Gwen says:

I have read there first three books twice!! Can’t wait for the fourth!! Keep writing the way you do and I will remain a very loyal paying it forward type of fan. I have already talked about your wonderful stories to all that I know and some poor woman in the Wal-Mart line ahead of me reading her kindle while waiting to be checked out. Hopefully she took the time to read all about Annabelle. Maybe she just hoping that crazy lady would shut up. Thank you for being brave enough to publish work dreams.

    • Tracy Ellen says:

Hi Gwen! Man, do I appreciate fans like you! If I’m not keeping up my side of the bargain for you to stay a loyal fan with my future books, I hope you’ll tell me why! 😉 Hahaa, I don’t think you’re crazy. I loved reading you were talking Anabel up in the cashier line–I find myself having book conversations with anyone I can corner all the time! (Or maybe that makes us BOTH crazy!) I believe my husband takes the cake–he recently sold my books to a woman while he was at the driving range whacking golf balls!(?)! Thank you, Thank you, for reading my series twice. I loved your post!

  6. Diane Piccirilli says:

Tracy, I absolutely loved, loved, loved A Date With Fate, Courted by Karma & In Love By Design!!! I am actually depressed that I just finished reading them. I couldn’t wait to get back to them every night. I think I might be having withdrawl haha Now what am I going to do?Please tell me a 4th book is coming and very soon?!

    • Tracy Ellen says:

      Hi Diane,
Oh no, not withdrawals! LOL, a fourth Anabel book IS coming out this fall 2014. Book one in a new series I’m writing is coming out before that in July, but more on that later in June. I can honestly say I never imagined being happy when somebody told me they were depressed, but I gotta admit, I’m thrilled you loved my books so much. ;} Thank you for stopping by and sharing! Best wishes!

    Hi TE,
Huge sigh of relief here after reading that more adventures of Anabel et al are on the way! Once I had finished the trio on my kindle I freely admit that I immediately went back and reread them all, not wanting to be done yet with all that juicy reading deliciousness! And picked up more tasty, unnoticed details along the way. Mmmmm!
All the wonderfully 3D characters – I’m from a very large Midwestern family and felt as if I was right at home with my four sisters and many cousins! Spending a few days with Anabel for me was time better spent than weeks of counselor visits. (No medical disclaimer required either!)
I admit that I was a little nervous @ book 1 chapter 1; since I am proof that the song is true that “…Catholic girls start much too late”, I had to peek ahead and allay my concerns and was incredibly glad I did! I am rather new to the romantic fiction genre, but my husband of 30+ years will agree (only privately, of course) that your series in particular has added a little spice to our lives lately. We aren’t quite Luke and Anabel, but maybe not quite Crookie and TreJ either!
As a musician I have also delighted at your musical references that begin each chapter. I recognize many of them and have had great fun googling and learning about the ones I did not. You have quite a knack for finding a song that captures the essence of the chapter’s message. Or maybe it was the song that led to the chapter? Hmmm.
I will conclude by saying that you had me hooked from your very first page of ‘Date with Fate’, because the prologue email is dated on my birthday. I knew right away it was a sign of good things to come, and I know now was right. You are a talented writer with an engaging style and I am eagerly awaiting the next Anabel adventure. Thanks for following your passion and bringing some fun into my days.

    • trishh1983 says:

Hmm. TMI? Anabel’ s my hero. = )

      • Tracy Ellen says:

LOL, never TMI for me! Hello, Trish–I loved your posts. You made ME want to go reread all the books again. I commend you for being a brave Catholic girl to not be scared off by the first chapter.;} (Now I can’t get Billy Joel out of my head!!) Picking the songs out for each chapter was very fun. That’s so cool to know you went to listen to the ones you hadn’t heard before. You’re right–sometimes the song popped in my head and was just perfect for what I’d written, or visa versa. At my house, we’re always horsin’ around singing and dancing. Music can really set a mood for me. I’ve always envied musicians and singers–another passion that seems so much fun! Thank you for writing me such an awesome note. I was having a nice day out playing hooky in the sunshine, but your exuberance has made it a great day. I don’t know you, but I bet it’s safe to say your husband still considers himself a very lucky guy to be Trish + Trish’s Man after 30 years of spicin’ things up together. Here’s to 30 more happily married years and, who knows, maybe 30 more books! Best wishes!

  8. Dawn says:

I’m on the third book of “Jr’s” adentures…the messes & schenanigans she and her family get themselves into is crazy and hilarious…I hope to read more of Annabel’s adventures in near future. I’m so glad to have found your books! 🙂

  9. Deanna says:

I’m agreeing with Robin above!! I loved all of these books from the 1st book you roped me in couldn’t wait to read what was going to happen next! As she said, down to earth, felt like I was right there living, having fun, waiting for more from these books!!! Please tell me you have another book coming soon — this CAN’T be the END to these characters. We need MOREEEE!!!!! Thank you Tracy for giving me back that little oomph to go out and LIVE LIFE!!!!

    • Tracy Ellen says:

Thank you so much, Deanna! That is totally cool my books gave you some oomph and I’m really flattered to have supplied that inspiration. Of course, now I’m going to be wondering what in the heck you’re getting up to, lol!! There will definitely be more books coming from the characters in The Adventures Of Anabel Axelrod series. 😉

  10. Kat says:

Love the book. My only comment would be to stop trying to prove that you have a knowledge of “big words”. We don’t care about them. I guess that it makes you feel smart.

  11. Mary Nestor says:

Loved, loved, loved these books! Literally had me laughing out loud at the crazy antics and sassy personalities and sighing with a grin on my face at the sweet romantic moments. When I grow up (for the second time), I wanna be Anabel! Of course, that also means I need to find me a Luke! Can’t wait for the fourth book!

    • Tracy Ellen says:

Hi Mary! I’m so relieved to know I’m not the only one looking forward to growing up a second time..or maybe I’m on the third…! Anyway, glad you loved the books! Thank you for the post and have a great week. 😉

  12. MaryAnne Brown says:

  14. Morgan says:

I just read all 3 books in a couple of days. Any idea when another Anabel book might be coming out?

    • Tracy Ellen says:

      Good morning, Morgan! That’s a lot of power reading–I love doing that, too. The next Anabel Adventure will be out in late summer, early fall. Keep an eye out, though, because I have a first book in a new series coming out sometime in June! Thanks for reading my books. :}

  15. Judy D says:

Love, love, love the first three books. I can’t wait for the series to continue (I hope there are lot more to follow in this series)!! From the moment I started reading the first book, I fell in love with the characters. Anabel is just awesome…she is witty, smart, sassy and down right fun. Luke…mmm, mmm, mmm….he is mysterious and yummy and so alpha….my, my, what a combination. What a fun read they all were! Please keep the books coming!

  16. Kathy Hanson says:

Loved the book A Date With Fate but who was in bed with her? Does she end up with Luke or Mike? Or is there another book? I didn’t find a series. Thanks Kathy

    • Tracy Ellen says:

Thank you so much, Kathy! I admit to a cliffhanger but I promise there are two more books so far in this series. The second book is Courted by Karma. The third book is In love by Design. Hope you love these as well! Take care 🙂

  17. Jamie says:

Loved the books. Please please continue them on in a series.

  18. Amanda says:

  20. J says:

Loved book 1 so much looked up book 2 and got it! Your creativity and style is refreshing. Can’t wait for 3. Hope it holds the same feel good feeling I got from 1 and 2.

    • Tracy Ellen says:

      Hi J–I love the feeling of enjoying an author, looking up their other books, and having more to read. I’m thrilled you liked my first two books and hope you like book 3, too. Thanks for writing to tell me. ;}

  21. Nef says:

How date you? How coule you left me, with Luke at the dopr and mile (?) in the bed ! And the next book not available! I would scream bloody murder if only my written english and french only ipad kayboard were up to it. Alas, I havé only one solution left: begging. S’il vous plaît, j’ai vraiment adoré votre livre, j’aimerais la suite, très très très vite…

  22. Robin says:

Loved the first book!! I adored the characters immediately, I felt we were family and friend from the beginning. Hated but loved (hmmm) being left hanging and can’t wait for the second book!

    • TE says:

Robin, what a fun review! Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the second book even more. I sure am having a great time writing it. I know it’s not cool to laugh at your own jokes, humor, etc, but since I feel like these characters have a life of their own, I can’t help but pee my pants snorting sometimes at what they say or do. Please don’t tell anyone I admitted this…

  23. Harvey says:

    loved it!
